Owl Sighting

This is what I love about where I live. Yesterday my husband and I went blackberry picking in our south pasture. It was getting late, the sun was setting, and we noticed a very large bird fly over head. We decided to check it out because I had been hearing an owl and wanted to see what he looked like. Well today was the day. He saw me and I saw him!

Isn't he beautiful! Well I guess it could be a she too. Thanks for checking in on me and hope you have a great weekend!

CREATIVE QUEENS AND OUR DOWNLINE MEETING CONTINUED

OK so I am going to brag on my Queens a little bit... The cards below are from our swap this month and I am just so exicited (and proud) about the wonderful creations these Queens have brought to the swap. Click on the picture to get a closer look.
This card was made by Toni and was declared the winner by the group. It is so simple but beautiful! The next picture shows the simple accessory that makes the card really pop! Pearls!!!
See how she has added the pearls to the flowers. Sorry that the picture is sideways but my software would not rotate properly. Anyway Great Card Toni!

The next  cards are from three other Creative Queens that have just as much talent.

This card was created by Lorraine. She too did a very simple card but add rhinestones! The result a great card!!

Look at this beauty!! Wow!!! My Creative Queen Susan designed this card and this picture does not do it justice. Susan if you are reading this blog post how difficult this card was to produce. It looks so hard, but I bet it was simple.

And finally by youngest Queen of our group. I guess I should call her Princess Nancy? No she is a Creative Queen in her own right! I had to laugh at Nancy because she told me that she was a little unsure of her swap because all of the other cards were so darling. Well Nancy your card is awesome!

Ok so this is what makes this card so special. The Whisper white center is the actual card. Most cards the base is what opens and in this design the Rich Razzleberry base is just the frame. She uses one of the circle punch and button to invite the card reader to open up for the greeting. Just a darling and well designed card!

Thank you to all my Queens for a wonderful meeting! I really enjoy my time with all of you and look forward to our next meeting in May!
