Downline Meeting

We had a great downline meeting tonight. We missed you Heather and Kellyn. Sure hope you can make it to the next one in February.

We started out the evening with snacks and drink. Got caught up on life! Everyone sharing what they were doing and how life was treating them. Susan gave all of us a pin made from the Flowers Fold die with autumn colored fabric. The pins were just beautiful. Thank you Susan.

We had a some discussion regarding how to build our business along with the upcoming offers from the Stampin' Up Home Office.

Then the night ended with a shoebox swap.

This wonderful card was Susan's. Very quick and beautiful!

Peggy did such a great job on designing this card. It was so simple and fun. It would make an awesome card for a workshop or stamp a stack.

Lorraine's card looks like velvet on the back ground. Great techique!

Of course you have already seen my card from a prevoius post, but this is my shoebox swap.

We had a great time getting together, learning new techniques, chatting and making some really great cards! Can't wait till February for out next meeting!!!

Holiday Promotion Part 2

Here is a really cute and quick craft that you can make to hang your gift cards on your Christmas tree. I have had so much fun with Holiday Promotion Vintage Christmas Card Bundle. You get the stamp set Bells and Boughs along with the DSP Deck the Halls for $19.92 (clear). That is 20% off. Click on Holiday Promotion Part 2 in pink above, if you would like to see the complete list of 20% off bundles.

Instructions on how to make this craft are listed below the pictures.

First cut a 4" dia. circle from cherry cobbler card stock. Then cut Two 3 3/4" dia. circle from the Deck the Halls DSP.  Use your word slot punch to make the slot for the gift card in one of the DSP circles.  Be sure to glue only the edges of the DSP so your gift card has room to slide in and out. The slot may need to be punched a couple of time so that the card will fit. Attach the DSP to the back side and attach the other DSP to the front. Add some decoration to  the front. I just cut out one the hollys from the DSP and attached wtih dimensionals for my decorations. Next punch the tab on top using the round tab and Early Expresso. This could also be an oval punch and then fold in half- very very cute. Insert your silver cord. Add some Early Expresso  sponging  and you are done! Quick and simple.

If you have questions just let me know. Have fun with this craft!!

Christmas Gift Ideas

This was an idea I got from Pam Morgan at Convention this year. I needed a Hostess Gift so I purchased a coffee cup from Walmart $1.25. Applied two of the Decor Elements birds Candy Cane Christmas located in the Holiday Mini page 36. Made a cute tag and placed some Hot Coco Mix in one of Stampin Up! medium cello bags. This is an inexpensive gift at $5.00 and it is so cute!!
