OK so I am like over the whole Christmas Card thing. I have moved onto making gifts but thought it would be nice to do Thank you cards for our next class. Below is a sneak peak! The card below was made with Chocolate Chip. Very Vanilla Card Stock and Designer Series Paper called Autumn Spice. This DSP is so pretty and will no longer be available at the end of December. It is shown on page 13 of the Holiday Mini. If you want any of this paper you had better order now!
All of the rest of the items will be from the Main Catalog. I used old olive 5/8" satin ribbon, Falling Leaves Stamp set, 1 1/4" & 1 3/8" circle punch, curley label and scallop punch.
My second card was made with cherry cobbler, very vanilla and always articoke card stock. The very vanilla on the card base was stamp first with Peaseful Wishes stamp set and then sent through the Big Shot using the Vintage Wall Paper embossing folder. Always articoke card stock was sent through the the Big Shot using the Top Note Die and then about one inch was cut off the left side. I used two types of ribbon. 3/8" Cherry Cobbler taffita ribbon and 5/8" Victoria Lace. Final touch was the Get Well Wishes stamped first and then punched with the Word Window punch.
My last card was made with Night of Navy and Whisper white card stock. I ran the white card base through the Big Shot using the Finial Press embosing folder. Use 5/8" Night of Navy Satin Ribbon and just tucked the edges behind the white layer. Simple and easy ribbon.....The stamp set I used is a Level III Hostess set. You could receive this stampset free if you hosted a workshop that qualified. The Thank you stamp is from our main catalog Thank You Kindly set on page 160. The final touch, which is very hard to see, is the Dazzling Diamond glitter applied over the flowers using a Two Way Glue Pen.
All of these items and more are available in my catalogs which are posted on the left side of my blog or you can purchase a hard copy for $9.95. If you host a workshop for a few friends, my catalog is free once you book the date. If you would like more information regarding these cards or any of the items I have listed please send me an email.
Thanks for spending some time with me and hope to see you at one of my classes.
