Raining flowers

We had a wonderful downline meeting today and I wanted to share this really cute box that all my girls made.

The box is made with the #2 box die and Pool Party card stock. Next stamp using one of the solid stamps from the Raining Flowers stampset and Pool Party classic ink to give a tone on tone look. When I went to convention the Raining Flowers Stampset was one of the free sets we received in our convention bag.

Stamp all over a 3 x 11 piece of Calypso Coral using Calypso Coral Classic ink and one of the linear stamps from the Raining Flower stampset. Take the scallop boarder punch and punch along 3" edge (top and bottom) of the strip of Calypso Coral card stock.

Place the box in the center of the strip of Calypso Coral. Pull up each side of the strip until they are even and do a soft score with your finger at the bottom. Using a 1" circle punch punch through both at the same. Cut a 16" piece of Daffodil Delight 1 1/4" stripped ribbon 16" long. Run the ribbon down the front, up the back and through the hole. Tie a square knot. Next take a scrap of Whisper White card stock and stamp the flower image in Pool Party and cut out. Apply with glue dot to the front of the box on the ribbon. Final step is adhere the button. The button is from the Brights Designer Button collection located on page 197 of the 2011 / 2012 Idea Book and Catalog.
